Is this a fit for my beauty business?
This offer is for independent hairdressers, nail technicians, lash and brow artists, and beauty therapists. I work remotely with businesses in different countries. Whether you rent a chair, work from a salon or have your own treatment room, we’ll check the platform’s availability where you work and its fit for your appointments. Services needing a consultation can stay off the online menu.
What does the £49 cover?
My one-off setup service for one professional at one location, on one chosen platform. Your full service menu, hours, booking page, plan-supported reminders and agreed no-show settings are included, along with a standard booking button or link on your existing website and a booking link on your eligible, verified Google Business Profile. You also get a test booking, a short how-to video and one small adjustment. Platform fees are separate. Data migration, multiple staff, a new website, custom integrations, ongoing management and broader visibility work need a separate quote.
Can a booking app help with no-shows?
Yes. Reminders help clients remember their appointment. Depending on the app and plan, you can also request a deposit or prepayment, or collect card details for an agreed late-cancellation or no-show fee. I’ll configure the supported options you choose and show you how to use them. Features and fees vary by country and plan; attendance and successful fee collection aren’t guaranteed.
Square’s UK free plan includes reminders, while its card-based no-show fees require Plus or Premium. We’ll check the features and costs of your local plan before you pay.
How do the website and Google Maps connections work?
I add a button or link that takes clients to your booking page. For Google Maps, I add the booking link to your existing, verified Business Profile where supported. I'll need authorised editing access to both. We'll check eligibility and website access before you pay. Google decides when the link is approved and displayed; this isn't a promise of a particular button layout or a higher ranking.
What if I don't have a website or Google profile?
You can still use your booking page and share its link on Instagram or in messages. Creating a new website or setting up and verifying a new Google Business Profile isn't included in this £49 offer. Tell me what you already have and we'll agree the right scope before you pay.
If Square is free, what am I paying you for?
You're paying for my time to configure it for your business, enter your services, set your availability, test the booking journey and show you how to use it. Where Square offers a free plan, there’s no monthly software subscription for that plan; features and payment fees depend on your country. You can also set it up yourself directly with Square.
Will Fresha or Treatwell bring me new clients?
They give you a presence in a marketplace where people search for beauty services. That can help people discover you beyond your own social profiles, but new bookings aren't guaranteed. Your area, treatments, availability, reviews and competition all matter. We'll review the fees before you choose.
When do the 24 hours start?
When payment, complete business details and authorised access to your booking account, existing website and verified Google profile are all ready, where relevant to your agreed setup. I'll need services, prices, durations, working hours, photos and the times to keep unavailable. The 24 hours cover my setup work; provider verification, marketplace approval and Google's review of changes can take longer.
Can I keep taking bookings myself?
Yes. You'll need to keep your online diary up to date when you book someone by phone or message. We'll choose which services go online; anything needing a consultation can stay with you.
Can we have a quick chat first?
Of course. Choose a time for a free 10-minute call through my Google Calendar booking page. We’ll meet on Google Meet to discuss your current bookings, the platform options and their costs. Your confirmation includes the meeting link. No payment or platform decision is needed for the call.
